If you lose your job, you may be entitled to unemployment benefits (WW-uitkering) through the UWV (Uitvoeringsinstituut Werknemersverzekeringen). To qualify, you must have worked enough months, be actively seeking work, and register with the UWV. Benefits are temporary and depend on your work history.
